The new tablet is 12.2 inches.

Samsung is working on a new tablet in collaboration with Sharp LCD screen of 12.2 inches, according to confirmed sources of the medium ETNews Samsung. The production of this new tablet screens begin next July and the company has expectations of sale of 12 million units.

According to these sources, it will begin to produce between 2 and 2.5 million screens. The rush in their release would come given the possible competition as Apple may be thinking of taking a device also over 10 inches.

The screens are made by Samsung's own display and the Japanese manufacturer Sharp. On the panels are comments that will have a fairly good resolution for its size, 2560 × 1600 pixels. Also have the possibility of adding an S-Pen, a pointer to facilitate its use as an eBook.

Digital books are one of the strengths for which bet this tablet, bigger than normal, but cheaper than a conventional laptop. Therefore its application in the field of e-books is one facet of most interest.
